The explorers of long ago began their search for new lands and lost treasures with a desire to increase in wealth, knowledge, position and possibly strength. Their search might have been for the expansion of their country or possibly the need to satisfy their own curiosity. Every great voyage began with the help of many people, with many skills and talents. We are here to help you begin or maybe even continue in your discovery of some of the great literature that has been reprinted in the last decade. Great books, filled with great stories that have changed lives over the last centuries, have been brought back to life through the hard work and diligence of people like those in the ministry of Cornerstone Family Ministries and Lamplighter Publishing.

Our challenge for you is not just to read books, but to seek those books that will both encourage you in your maturity of mind and heart and help you to grow more Christ-like every day. Remember, the Holy Scriptures should always have first place in your daily reading, but as you seek additional literature to assist you in your growth, we hope you are willing to accept the challenge of Paul the Apostle when he spoke to the Thessalonians concerning his desire that they would be like the Bereans. "Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true." Acts 17:11
